Cold email infrastructure questions,
answered.
Why do I need separate domains for cold email?
Because cold outreach always carries some spam risk, and you never want that risk on the domain your invoices and customer emails come from. Secondary domains that point back to your main site take the hit, while your real domain stays clean.
How long before we can send at volume?
New inboxes need warm-up before they can send real volume, usually a few weeks. We start the warm-up on day one, so the list and copy are ready the moment the inboxes are.
Which sending platform do you use?
ReachInbox, Instantly and Smartlead all do the job. We pick based on your volume, your budget and what else is in your stack, and the platform subscription stays in your name.
Do you write the emails too?
Yes. Short, plain emails that read like a person wrote them, with follow-ups that add something instead of just bumping. Copy gets tuned on reply data, not opinions.
What happens to the replies?
Interested replies get flagged and routed into your CRM, or straight to whoever books the calls. Out-of-office, wrong-person and not-now replies get handled automatically, so nobody wades through a shared inbox.
Is cold email still legal and effective?
Yes, when it is done properly: a real business, a relevant offer, an easy way to opt out, and compliance with the rules where you send. Done that way, it is still one of the cheapest ways to start conversations with the exact companies you want.
